Well, you are not alone... with all the foreclosures to date and the number still climbing... you, the consumer, need to know the tricks of the trade. Now you
might think WHAT TRICKS and more importantly, WHY are tricks needed?
Up to this point in time, you may have just accepted that CREDIT is something
you can't do a thing about...other than staying on point by paying on time and paying at least the minimum due.
There are things that you can do and i will share exactly what options are available to you,
all you need to do is take action...
First, WHY tricks are needed... to make as much money as possible for the credit card companies, etc. It is that simple ... and we [the public] allowed this to happen through our elected officials in congress. And why did congress screw the people purchasing on credit? Because they accept gratuities through the corporate lobbyists.
The KEY to most everything is: FOLLOW THE MONEY!

Unpleasant Credit Surprises
Have you ever had a credit card application rejected? How about when you thought you had great credit?
I am not opening up the Pandora's Box of identity theft here. I am warning you that your credit rating is not static and some of the changes may be neither positive nor correct. There are lots of places to get a free credit report. When you are checking yours please be certain to pay special attention to any closed accounts or paid off accounts. Credit lawyers have a very interesting habit of invoking something called - 'Dismissal Without Prejudice'. This allows them to come back later and file for judgments on balances which you negotiated to zero. What you must demand during a debt settlement is a 'Dismissal With Prejudice' for all items on the related matter.
Check with lawyer, more later.
